iPod freezes after sync - it's not just me
Here’s something Apple should pay attention to on its own discussion forums: ipod freezes after sync … My ipod ALWAYS freezes after I sync it and try to play a podcast. A reset fixes it, but what a bother! If I try to play a podcast, it freezes halfway into the next screen. Respondents are seeing essentially the same behavior as me. Why a dozen?
So, why do we use a dozen (twelve) in counting stuff like donuts and bagels? Why is a gross equal to a dozen dozen? Why don’t we just go with ten?

Why does my iPod nearly always lock after I do a sync? Grr! (1.8 GB Nano with v 1.1.3 software). At least I have learned how to hold the center button and menu position at the same time to reset.
