XP event timing

So, I turn off my computer overnight (because it won’t hibernate by itself anymore).  And when I turn it on in the morning, you’d think I would want to start working, right?  No, not me.  I’d much rather let the computer take care of all its internal maintenance the minute it comes out of hibernation. 

Argh!  Think, people!
